Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take full mouth x-rays, which includes either a panoramic or individual x-rays of all the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.
Implants
Implants are usually Titanium (highly compatible) structures (cylinders or screw like) that are placed in the area of the jaw normally occupied by the root of a tooth. Implants are anchored to the jawbone after the bone heals and locks them in place.
Implants can replace one or more missing teeth.
In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures securely or replace all the teeth within the jaw. Read More...
Veneers
Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain or plastic cemented over the front of your teeth to change their color or shape. Veneers can be used to replace large old fillings on front teeth or to repair small chips or medium size fractures. They are also used on teeth with uneven surfaces, discolored, oddly shaped, unevenly spaced or crooked.
Veneers can be used instead of braces in order to make teeth appear straight. Sometimes they are used along with orthodontic treatment.
Crowns and Bridges
While fillings fill holes within a tooth, crowns restore the largest cavities and fractures. Crowns cover most or all of the tooth and are cemented in place. Crowns are typically used to restore a tooth's function and appearance.Crowns are often used to restore teeth following a root canal.
Bridges are a combination of crowns and pontics (false teeth).
Teeth Whitening
Whitening procedures have effectively restored the smile of people with stained, dull, or discolored teeth.Whitening can reliably remove stains within the enamel that come from dark foods and drinks such as coffee, tea, juices and red wine. Previous users of tobacco will see the most dramatic effects.
Most patients can return the shade of their teeth to how it was when they were 18 - 20 years old. Some patients can achieve "ultra White" but this can not be predicted in advance.
Invisalign's® invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners will give you the beautiful straight teeth you've always wanted. And best of all, no one can tell you're wearing them. Invisalign is great for adults and teenagers. Read More...
